House extension, Princeton, USA
This addition to a small 1930's colonial house arose out of the client’s need for a large room or living, dining and entertaining, and for a new rear entrance hall handy to the existing garage. The roof of the main room is vaulted, with the ceiling lowered over the dining end to allow for a shaft of light from the skylights above to fall on the dining table.

Construction is wood frame with exterior wood siding. The roof has a laminated wood arch structure and the roof finish is tern-coated steel.
